Naming Ceremonies

 A naming ceremony is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate welcoming a new child to your family and the wider community. 

Unlike traditional religious ceremonies, a naming ceremony is completely non-religious and flexible. You can nominate friends or family to help 'guide' your child through their life.

 

Many parents choose this time to make promises to their child infront of their closest family and friends. You may want to create some keepsake’s be that a footprint of your child, planting a tree or creating a memory box.

As with any of my ceremonies you choose the venue - so you could host it at home in your garden or hire a venue. 

 

A naming ceremony can also celebrate two families becoming one and having a new or shared surname. Or you may want others to acknowledge your new name and the new you.
